Advice during Legionella outbreak

A yacht faced an sudden legionella outbreak seemingly out of nowhere. A survey revealed errors made during maintenance and a faulty flowmeter for disinfection dosing. 

We assisted the vessel with the survey, a root cause analysis, a ship specific shock treatment protocol, and hands-on supervision during the shock treatment itself whilst berthed in Barcelona.

During her next yard visit an audit of the system and a ship specific water safety plan was performed.
